Κάποια παιχνίδια, όπως η κούκλα, υπήρχαν σχεδόν σ’ όλους τους λαούς εδώ και χιλιάδες χρόνια.
Στην αρχή οι κούκλες φτιάχνονταν στο σπίτι από ύφασμα, ξύλο, πηλό ή άλλα υλικά. Τα χρόνια πέρασαν… Στις μέρες μας υπάρχουν πια άνθρωποι που με τη βοήθεια ειδικών μηχανών, κατασκευάζουν πανέμορφες κούκλες όλων των ειδών με τις οποίες παίζουν εκατομμύρια παιδιά σε όλο τον πλανήτη.
Στο βιβλίο που κρατάς θα γνωρίσεις μερικές κούκλες απ’ όλο τον κόσμο και μάλιστα ντυμένες με παραδοσιακές φορεσιές της πατρίδας τους.
Στις σελίδες με το κείμενο, που τις συνοδεύουν, συμπλήρωσε τις εικόνες χρωματίζοντας και κολλώντας τα αυτοκόλλητα.
