“Ένα άδειο κραγιόν, σπασμένα γυαλιά κολλημένα σαν σε καθρέφτη κι ένα λιωμένο μολύβι. Αυτά βρέθηκαν στα χαλάσματα της γκρεμισμένης παρά-γκας, όπου έζησε η Θεώνη τα τελευταία της χρόνια. Μόνο που στα χαλάσματα το λιωμένο μολύβι δεν ήταν ένα. Αμέτρητα λιωμένα μολύβια ξεφτισμένα απ τη χρήση, μολύβια που λιώσανε μαζί με τη ζωή. Κι ένα χαρτάκι τυλιγμένο σαν σπίρτο, καλά κρυμμένο μέσα στο άδειο κραγιόν, με τρεις ημερομηνίες ξεθωριασμένες: Σάββατο 13 Αυγούστου 1938, Πέμπτη 13 Αυγούστου 1964, Παρασκευή 13 Αυγούστου 1982. Εκεί μέσα ήταν η Θεώνη”.
